At Cypress School, our students value learning and meet challenges with confidence as responsible citizens, productive workers and life long learners. We offer a high quality instructional program and provide a safe environment that will help students acquire necessary academic and life skills. Students will successfully enter Glenboro School and then be able to go on and successfully enter employment and/or continue their education.

We are located approximately 95 miles west of Winnipeg on the # 2 Highway. The
area is mostly an agricultural based community. But we do have many fine businesses
right in our town of Cypress River. A rich cultural heritage that combines Icelandic, French, Belgium
and many more backgrounds gives us a fine backdrop for us to lay the foundations
of a varied curriculum rich in world civilisation themes. Last year we appreciated learning
all about the pyramids and Egyptian culture and this year we are going to be exploring
the medieval period.
